Flat 3D letters
Also called: dimensional letters, cut-out letters, PVC or acrylic letters
- Looks: bold, raised letters that cast a shadow on the wall
- At night: needs a spotlight to be seen
- Best for: reception walls, offices, salons, churches, school halls
- No wiring or electrician needed
Front-lit letters
Also called: channel letters, lit letters, LED letters
- Looks: the coloured faces of the letters glow
- At night: brightest and easiest to read from the road
- Best for: shopfronts, plazas, gas stations, restaurants
- LED inside, power supply included
Halo / back-lit letters
Also called: reverse-lit, halo letters, back-lit letters
- Looks: solid metal letters with a soft glow on the wall behind
- At night: elegant outline, a premium look
- Best for: banks, hotels, law offices, salons, corporate lobbies
- Works best on a smooth, light-coloured wall
Front + halo letters
Also called: combo-lit, dual-lit
- Looks: faces glow and the wall glows too
